Winter Wonderland

Well this is what I have been up to the last couple of months. I bought a ski pass and I feel obligated to go often but luckily I have friends to go up with me. Shelley and I went up recently to Timberline and had fun falling and trying to stick jumps on our
snowboards. It's a nice way to relax on our days off and be able to be up in the snow and get to catch amazing views of the Cascade Range. And it always seems so peaceful up on the mountain because I usually go during the middle of the week when there are not as many people up there so I get to have the slopes to myself and no waiting in lines. It doesn't get much better than that. I have also been spliting time between skiing and snowboarding. I have skied since I was a kid and have a need for speed and jumps. Over the last 5 years I have really gotten into snowboarding and enjoyed having a new challenge to try and accomplish. I have found out that I still have a need for speed and jumps while snowboarding but now I actually end up falling unlike skiing I usually stick 'em. Even after many bumps and bruises, I still continue with my speed and jumps. I gotta learn somehow...right?
